What +EV Sharps is

+EV Sharps is a web-based research and odds comparison tool built mostly around player props. A prop is a bet on one player's stat line, such as home runs or points.

The tool puts prices from sportsbooks, exchanges and prediction markets in one table. It then lets you remove the vig using settings you choose, so you can see an estimated fair price and judge whether a listed price beats it. Our no-vig calculator shows the basic idea on a single market.

It also has a Discord community, and sign-in runs through Discord or Google.

Who +EV Sharps is for

This is for prop bettors who like to control the math. You choose which books feed the fair price and how they are weighted. That suits someone who already knows why one book's number might be more trustworthy than another's.

It is also useful if you research before you bet. Game logs, hit rates and matchup information sit next to the odds, so you can check a player's recent form against the price.

It is a weaker fit if you want ready-made picks, or if you only bet on main markets at one sportsbook. A newer bettor may find the devig options and filters a lot to take in at once.

How it works

The workflow runs roughly like this:

  • Start on a prop board, such as the home run page, and filter by odds, line and liquidity.
  • Pick your devig books and weights, and choose a devig method. Several are offered, including additive, multiplicative, power and probit.
  • Compare available prices across sportsbooks, exchanges and prediction markets, including sharper books.
  • Read the game logs, hit rates and matchup stats before you decide.
  • Save the play to a watchlist, or log it in the bet tracker once you place it at the book.

Higher plans add more pages. Main markets, live in-game pages and personal +EV plays sit on the top tier, while saved table layouts and CSV exports sit on the middle one.

What to weigh before subscribing

There are free and paid monthly tiers. The free one gives limited odds and +EV access, so you can get a feel for the layout. See the at-a-glance table above for current pricing and what each tier includes.

Coverage varies by sport, market and region. Not every book or market appears on every page, so check that the sports you bet are covered before paying.

Different devig methods can give different fair prices for the same market. That flexibility is a strength, but it also means two bettors can disagree about whether a bet has an edge. Learn what each method assumes. Our EV calculator is a good place to practice.

As with any +EV approach, sportsbooks may limit accounts that consistently beat the market price. You will need accounts at several books to act on what you find, and enough bankroll to keep stakes sensible.

Prop prices move quickly, and a flagged edge can vanish before you place the bet. The tool shows you prices. It does not place bets or promise outcomes.

Bottom line

+EV Sharps is a research-heavy prop tool for people who want to set their own devig rules and read player data beside the odds. It fits prop bettors with accounts at several books. If you want simple picks or only bet main lines, a lighter tool will likely serve you better.
