What OddsShopper is
OddsShopper is a suite of betting tools led by PortfolioEV, its +EV product. A +EV bet is one where the price is better than the true chance of winning justifies. Over many bets, the idea is that those small edges add up.
To judge that, the tool needs a fair price. It uses "devigging," which removes the sportsbook's built-in margin from a line. PortfolioEV lets you customize that step. Our no-vig calculator shows the same idea on a single line.
The suite also includes an arbitrage finder, odds screens, a liquidity tool for prediction exchanges, and free expert picks through Tails.
Who OddsShopper is for
OddsShopper is for bettors who already hold accounts at several sportsbooks and want to bet systematically. A +EV or arbitrage approach only works if you can place the bets where the edge appears.
It suits bettors comfortable with volume. OddsShopper describes push alerts and bulk +EV bet placement, which assume you will place many bets, not a few.
It is probably not for casual bettors who wager a few times a week on favorite teams. It is also not for anyone who dislikes the admin of managing many books, funding them and shopping lines constantly.
Pick'em players get something too. The free calculators and entry builders are open to anyone.
How it works
The typical flow:
- Set up your strategy in PortfolioEV, including your devigging approach.
- Get bet-size recommendations based on your bankroll and risk strategy, plus +EV parlays.
- Receive push alerts on the mobile app or Discord, and place +EV bets in bulk.
- Use the odds screen to compare real-time lines across sportsbooks before you bet.
- Run the arbitrage finder to spot price gaps between books. Higher-tier plans add in-game EV and arbitrage on live markets.
- Use the liquidity tool, a higher-tier feature, to follow sharp bettors on prediction exchanges and take the same side at your sportsbook.
Check any alert yourself. The EV calculator and arbitrage calculator let you confirm the math before you stake money. The Kelly criterion calculator is useful for thinking about stake size.
What to weigh before subscribing
There are two paid plans, each billed weekly, monthly or annually. PortfolioEV comes with both. The live in-game tools and the liquidity tool are limited to the higher plan. One add-on, Stokastic Props, is not included in either. See the at-a-glance table above for current pricing, trial terms and the sportsbook count.
This approach can get accounts limited. Sportsbooks may restrict bettors who consistently take +EV or arbitrage prices. Plan for that, and don't depend on any single account staying open.
+EV betting is also a long-run idea. Individual bets still lose, and results swing a lot over small samples. You need a bankroll that can absorb losing stretches. Arbitrage is often described as locking in profit, but you can still be caught by a line change, a voided bet or a stake limit.
The site advertises a refund offer tied to results after a large number of bets. The terms, though, describe subscriptions as generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Read both before you rely on a refund.
Cancellation runs through your account dashboard, and subscriptions auto-renew.
Bottom line
OddsShopper fits an experienced, multi-book bettor who wants +EV and arbitrage tools in one place and can place bets at volume. It is overkill for occasional bettors. Expect a learning curve and the chance of account limits.
