What SharpStack is
SharpStack is a suite of betting tools from 4for4, a company better known for football projections. It bundles several screens and finders in one subscription.
The core idea is simple. A +EV tool compares a sportsbook's odds with a sharper reference price and flags bets that look underpriced. An arbitrage tool looks for two books that disagree enough that you can back both sides. SharpStack covers both, plus middles, odds screens, a pick'em optimizer and a bet tracker. To see how a flagged edge is judged, try our EV calculator and no-vig calculator.
Who SharpStack is for
SharpStack suits bettors who already shop lines and want one place to do it. It fits best if you:
- Hold accounts at several sportsbooks and can move money between them.
- Play pick'em apps and want edge estimates for a full slip.
- Bet football heavily. The vendor says football coverage is the deepest and other sports are covered less deeply.
- Like to track closing line value and review your own results over time.
It is probably not for you if you bet casually on one app, or if your main sport is something other than football and you expect equal depth everywhere. It is also a lot of surface area for a brand-new bettor. If you have never compared a price to a no-vig line, learn that first.
How it works
The listed features suggest a workflow like this:
- Open the +EV feed. The vendor says each bet shows an edge based on a model built from sharp book prices.
- Check the arbitrage and middles screens for opposing lines across books. A middle is an overlap where both sides can win if the result lands in a range. Our arbitrage calculator helps size those.
- Use the odds and prop screens to compare prices on props, games and futures across sportsbooks and prediction markets.
- For pick'em play, the optimizer shows edge percentages for PrizePicks, Underdog, DK Pick6 and Sleeper, with an automatic EV figure for the whole slip.
- The Sharp Money feature uses prediction market data. The vendor frames it as a way to follow sharper bettors.
- Log what you place in the bet tracker, which records closing line value, and review your history.
The suite also includes market-based player projections, a page of published results for the model's recommended bets, and a few calculators. Access is through the web, with a Discord community included.
What to weigh before subscribing
Start with account risk. Sportsbooks may limit or restrict accounts that win by betting only +EV lines or arbitrage. Limits can arrive sooner than you expect, so don't count on long-term access at any one book.
Next, bankroll and time. Edges on individual bets tend to be small, so the approach rewards volume, discipline and fast action. You need funds spread across books and the habit of acting while a line is live.
On the published results page, remember that a vendor showing past results is marketing. Past results don't predict future ones. Judge the tool by how well you understand each edge, not by a track record.
There is more than one plan structure, including a tools-only option and a bundle that adds picks. Check the at-a-glance table above for current pricing, trial terms and what each plan includes. Read the cancellation terms before you enter a card. Confirm that your own sportsbooks are supported before you subscribe.
Bottom line
SharpStack is a broad toolkit for bettors who already work with multiple accounts and want +EV, arbitrage, middles and pick'em edges in one subscription. Football bettors get the most from it. If you bet casually or on a single book, a lighter tool will likely serve you better.
