What BetsAPI Is
BetsAPI sells paid access to sports event, result and odds data. An API is a way for your code to ask a service for data. You send a request with your key, and data comes back.
It is built around bookmaker feeds. It has separate packages for Bet365, BWin, Betfair, Sbobet and 1xBet. It also has an Events API and a Results API.
BetsAPI is a data service. It does not take bets.
Who BetsAPI Is For
BetsAPI fits coders who want data from one specific bookmaker. Maybe you build a tracker around one book's odds. Maybe you need results for a model.
It also fits people on a small budget who only need one sport. It sells single-sport packages for that.
It is probably not for you if you want a free plan. It is also not for you if you need to compare prices from many books at once. Its packages are built book by book.
How It Works
- Pick a package and buy it. You need to buy before you can use the API.
- Get your token from your orders page.
- Call REST endpoints. REST means your code asks for data each time.
- Read the response headers to see how many requests you have used.
The docs list sections for each bookmaker feed. They also list in-play endpoints for live games. The default limit is a set number of requests each hour. A bigger volume add-on raises it.
What to Weigh Before You Pay
This review does not cover plan prices. Check the site for current packages.
- There is no free plan. It is paid only.
- There is no free trial. It sells low-cost trial packages instead. The trial price doubles after each buy, so you cannot trial it again and again.
- You pay per package. A feed for one book is a separate buy from the rest.
- Several things are not stated. The pages we read do not say whether it has player props, past odds or prediction markets. Ask before you buy.
- Terms were not readable. We could not read its terms page. Check its rules on refunds, canceling and reselling yourself.
- Only REST is listed. There is no live stream in the docs.
Test the trial on the feed you need most. Make sure the data you want is in that package.
Bottom Line
BetsAPI is a fit if you need data from a specific bookmaker and are fine buying package by package. Start with the trial on one feed. Do not assume props or history until you have checked.
