A player prop is a bet on one player's stat. For example, will a player score over or under a number of points? A prop research tool gathers stats to help you decide.
Most show hit rates. A hit rate tells you how often a player went over that line in past games. Many also show trends, matchups, and recent games. Some compare lines across sportsbooks (betting sites).
These do other things too, and include this as one of their features.

A high hit rate does not mean a sure win. Past games do not tell you what happens next. A player may be hurt or have a new role.
Small samples can fool you. A player may go over five games in a row by luck.
Sportsbooks know these stats too. The line already includes much of what you see. A tool can help you research, but it cannot find a winner for you.
Check news before you bet. To turn a price into a true chance, try our no-vig calculator. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
It is how often a player went over (or under) a line in past games. A player who went over in most games has a high hit rate.
Not on their own. They show the past. Injuries, matchups, and luck also matter.
Some have a free plan with fewer features. Others charge for full data. Check each tool's own listing for current terms.
